Waiters' race
on Sunday at 3 p.m., the start will be given to the traditional and spectacular waiters' race. The waiters will start and finish the race with a full tray on the Molenpoortplein. The winner will receive his weight in genever from Hasselt.
The Miracle of Het Borrelmanneke
Het Borrelmanneke - fountain and symbol of the Hasselt Genever - will, following the annual tradition, treat all those present. On Saturday around 4:30 p.m. water will transform into genever from Hasselt.
Hasselt Dances
Hasselt dances will also be present at the festival. The Royal City Feestcomité organizes a splashing event on the Grote Markt.
The Confrérie of the Hasselt Genever
On Saturday the 16th of October the Confrérie will celebrate "The Day of the Genever from Hasselt". At 11:30 a.m. a parade through the city centre will end at the Virga Jesse Basilica where the traditional genever mass will be celebrated. Information on www.confreriehasseltsejenever.be.

The genever distillers Fryns, Smeets, Massy and Wissels will give you the opportunity to sample their best products.
Stoopkeskermis
On Saturday and Sunday, the Grote Markt will be transformed in the longest genever counter of the Genever Festival. The Koninklijke Feestcomité der Stad Hasselt will serve a range of Genevers from Hasselt. Genever fair at the Witte Nonnenstraat
With a drink, a snack and a lot of ambiance the Rotary Club Hasselt-Herckenrode guarantees a cozy atmosphere in the Witte Nonnenstraat (opposite the National Genever Museum). www.rotaryhasseltherckenrode.be.
